PXAF CRAFTSHIP INTERVIEW 03 - Conversation with Founder of Bubble Shuiyu

Q: Our off-line shop in Xintiandi recently refreshed your Original Handmade Silver Jewellery Collection, could you pick one piece from the collection and share its creation process with us?

A: I want to share an ultra-long and multi-gem necklace. The necklace made by and combined with Agate, jade, beeswax, all kinds of crystals and natural stone elements. Crystal means good luck and prosperity, and this multi-gem necklace has its own crystal element and power. The necklace has several wearing methods, such as wrapping two or three rounds as a necklace, or wrapping many rounds as a bracelet, depending on different outfits. It is an interesting multi-gem necklace. Making it is because I want to create s new play rule to daily outfit, creating different kinds of wrapping and matching by ourselves.

Q: Where do you get your inspiration?

A: My inspiration is from the element balance shown in crystal and an idea that every crystal on one jewelry is different, so it is a one-of-a-kind jewelry and only belongs to yourself.

Q: We have many kinds of products from Bubble Shuiyu in our off-line shops, which one do you prefer according to your recent mood?

A: I prefer my silver jewellery products. Shuiyu is my hope to combine the jade with silver, and to improve the popularity and flexibility of the use of new Chinese style among our daily outfits.
