Prof. XIE & Friends (PXAF), is an expanding art, design and creative project platform under YanYue. PXAF also develops '100 Brands Club' to connect and promote more artists/designers/brands.
In 2020, PXAF opened its first Shanghai Xintiandi offline POPUP store, to create a space which combines art, creativity and a retail outlet. It also includes a social focus which appeals to consumers to explore more creative/artistic products. A POPUP space turns out a long-term project. To date, it has opened five spaces and undertaken cross-industry cooperation across a number of commercial complexes in key areas of Shanghai, such as Xintiandi, Jing’an Temple and Huangpu Riverside. Now PXAF comes to its Version 2.0 stage, PXAF Studio, PXAF Partnership, and PXAF channel.
The idea behind PXAF is to integrate artistic creativity into everyday life and commercial and retail spaces, so that a growing number of people can recognise the value of different forms of artistic beauty and unique design in their daily lives. In our view, art cannot simply arouse an aesthetic awareness in people, but can also encourage them to fulfil their creative potential. PXAF’s objective is to familiarise more consumer groups and partners with the work of exceptional artists and designers, and thereby incorporate art into life and other application settings. At the moment we are concentrating on exploring and promoting art, intangible cultural heritage, original handicrafts and lifestyle art and design.
PXAF, runs by YanYue Shanghai, is dedicated to promoting the growth, integration and evolution of both Chinese and international artists/brands, and helping artists and brands to develop their awareness and real business both in China and international market. In addition, PXAF project will explore and support emerging artists/brands.
